We encourage you to visit Rice at any time for a firsthand look at our department and the beautiful, tree-lined campus near the heart of historic Houston.
If you apply and are admitted, we will make an effort to invite you to visit the campus later at departmental expense. During your admissions visit, you will get a chance to talk one-on-one with faculty members and to sit in on classes. You will also get a chance to spend time with current graduate students, from whom you can learn more about their research, the department from a student perspective, graduate life at Rice, and life in Houston more generally.
In the meantime, feel free to contact the department with any questions you may have about its programs or the university.
